Obtaining A Community Association Management License
Follow the Florida Dept. of Business & Professional Regulation Requirements To obtain a Community Association Manager’s (CAM) license you must be 18 years of age, with a high school diploma or the equivalent and file an application for licensure with the Department of Business and Professional Regulations in Tallahassee, Florida. You may call 850-487-1395 to receive an application, fingerprint card or apply online at www.myflorida.com. You will need to submit processing fees and proof of completion of eighteen (18) hours of approved CAM Pre-Licensing education prior to being authorized to sit for the state exam.
Register And Attend an Agora School of Real Estate CAM Pre-Licensing Course
The Agora School of Real Estate offers the state approved eighteen (18) hour CAM pre-license course which is taught by a licensed professional instructor who covers the proper information to prepare you for the state exam. The course is scheduled on weekends for your convenience at varied school locations on the west coast of Florida. A one time fee allows the student to attend the course repeatedly up to one year in order to complete the state exam.
Eligible For Exam Scheduling
Once you have been determined eligible for exam scheduling, you will receive a letter from Promissor, with instructions to schedule an examination date and time. You have one year from the date of your application approval to pass the examination. Promissor is the national testing facility hired by the state of Florida to administer the CAM examination.
